Chatfield Eye Care is a High quality easy paced Optometry practice in S.W. Littleton, CO. (Ken Caryl). We are an easy going practice with no high-pressure sales tactics. C.E.C. provides full service Eye Care: from routine eye exam's, Specility Scleral contact fitting, Dry eye management, Ocular disease / Urgent eye care visits. The Retail aspect of Optometry is the most challenging, but can be the most rewarding C.E.C does provide prescription spectacles for our patients so we can control the quality fron start (exam) to finish.

Our work environment includes:

• Weekday hours 9:00 to 4:00 so great life work balance.
• Saturday hours are quick 9:00 to 1:00.

Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary tests and measurements on patients, Topography, Autorefractor, OCT, Spark PD/Seght, Visual Fields.
- Computer skills are a 100% Must have.
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Provide assistance with frame selection and fitting for glasses
- Collect co-pays and other payments from patients
- Dispense and adjust spectacle frames to patients
- Front Desk such as answering phone and scheduling appointments
- Routine Office dusting and vacuuming

Experience:
- Previous experience working in an optometry setting is a plus.
- Computer skills are a required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of optical products, lens options, and frame styles
- Strong people skills and ability to recommend appropriate eyewear options to patients

Pay: $19.81 - $22.00 per hour
