Orchard Site Manager

Position Available: Site Manager
Number of Positions Available: 3
Location: Bay of Plenty Region
Payrate: $31 – $36 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
or
A Level 4 or higher relevant qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations across multiple horticultural sites
• Supervise teams involved in planting, pruning, thinning, spraying, and
  harvesting
• Monitor crop health, pest and disease issues, and irrigation systems
• Allocate daily tasks and manage workforce schedules.
• Train and support staff on horticultural techniques and safe equipment use
• Maintain accurate records of productivity, staff hours, and orchard activity
• Report regularly to upper management on site progress and performance
