Overnight Caregiver

We are searching for caring and compassionate caregiver for a full-time overnight shift. This is an awake night staff shift position, 7pm-7am. Available shifts are 5 nights a week, Sunday-Thursday.

Experience is highly recommended. Level of experience and certifications will be considered in pay rate offer. We currently offer a 401(k) retirement plan, performance-based salary increases, holiday pay and discretionary yearly bonus.

Candidate must:

• Provide a valid driver's license/ID
• Pass a background check
• Have negative Tuberculosis (TB) screen test
• Have CPR/First Aid Certification
• Be able to speak/read/write in the English Language
• Be able to go up & down the stairs without difficulty
• Be able to provided positive references

Sincere Care ALH is an assisted living home for adults with disability & vulnerable elderly. The home is a two-level building with up to 10 residents. Back-up live-in caregivers are available in the home for emergencies. Administrator is on-call and available 24/7.

The Night shift Caregiver responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rounding and checking on residents overnight
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (dusting, floor mopping, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathroom and kitchen)
• Cooking/Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
• Assisting residents with feeding and meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
• Reporting any significant changes in resident’s needs or living conditions
• Regularly communicating with Administrator or Designee
• Washing and folding laundry
• Providing a variety of non-medical services like companionship and personal care
• Contributing to a positive living environment to enhance a resident’s quality of life

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
