At Perfectemp Refrigeration we have been dedicated to serving the refrigeration industry for over 25 years.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined General Labor professional to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this hands-on role, you will support daily operations by performing a variety of maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting tasks that keep our production running smoothly. Painting will be your primary responsibility. Your technical aptitude and proactive approach will be essential in assisting with refurbishing, repairs, assembling, and ensuring safety standards are upheld. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with mechanical, light electrical experience, and are eager to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Duties

  • Painting - stripping components, clean surfaces to bare metal, repair corrosion, apply primer and then repaint with a durable temperature, and corrosion - resistant coating for protection and clean finish.
  • Apply coatings using high air volume and low pressure to create a precise, high transfer efficiency finish.
  • Assist in the stripping of components from each piece of refrigerated equipment.
  • Install new valves, motors, fans, and other refrigeration components.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure optimum performance.
  • Prepare interior and exterior cases for painting.
  • Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and upgrades.

Qualifications

  • HVLP application of commercial coatings experience.
  • Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment
  • Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage applications a plus.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
  • Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical issues quickly.
  • Ability to operate a power equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to perform duties in a cool working environment.
  • Experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidates.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
