Your mission:
Be part of the story to build an easily accessible investment product with regulatory excellence reaching 100m end users.
Provide support to the legal team at Upvest in the UK and Germany.
Enhance your legal skills, and make a significant impact in a leading fintech company.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Collaborate with the legal team to provide assistance on a variety of legal and regulatory issues, including financial regulations, commercial contracts, consumer T&Cs and privacy.
Assist with updating legal and compliance documents such as policies and manuals, as well as drafting, reviewing and executing a broad range of legal documents, including NDAs and commercial contracts.
Manage legal operations by improving and scaling processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness using legal tech.
Maintain and organizing the contracts database, and generally leading on document management.
Assisting with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects to improve the processes within the Banking Team.
About you
A law degree or equivalent legal qualification, or working towards a legal qualification.
At least 1 years’ relevant experience in a commercial/corporate environment.
Ambition to learn within the entrepreneurial spirit of the Upvest and from in-house team of experts whilst developing your own skills.
Helpful, hardworking approach with high degree of initiative.
Collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team.
Flexible can-do attitude and the ability to multitask.
Sound judgement and first-rate communication skills.
English language skills are essential.
