Bilingual Paralegal Assistant (Spanish-English) – Personal Injury & ImmigrationAbout the Role

The Ebrahimi Law Firm is seeking a bilingual (Spanish and English) Paralegal Assistant to join our growing legal team. This position supports both our personal injury and immigration practice areas.

We are looking for a professional who is fluent in both Spanish and English, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients navigate complex legal matters. You will play a vital role in keeping cases on track, maintaining client communication, and supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Injury Cases

• Assist with client intake, case setup, and ongoing communication in both Spanish and English.
• Draft demand letters, medical summaries, and settlement documents.
• Request, track, and organize medical records and bills.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and clients regarding treatment progress and settlements.
• Prepare case materials for settlement negotiations or litigation.

Immigration Cases

• Prepare and organize USCIS and EOIR filings, including forms, exhibits, and supporting evidence.
• Translate and draft client affidavits, declarations, and supporting statements.
• Conduct client interviews and help gather necessary documentation.
• Monitor filing deadlines and maintain organized case files.
• Communicate case updates and next steps clearly in both languages.

General Support

• Conduct legal and factual research related to personal injury and immigration cases.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure case management systems are up to date.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) is required.
• Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in personal injury and/or immigration law is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Clio or other case management software a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
