Part-Time Dishwasher

Bar Kismet is a small seafood focused restaurant and cocktail bar located in the North End of Halifax.

We are currently seeking a part time dish warrior to join our team!

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well under pressure, has a great positive attitude, is willing to learn and excel in a team.

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment.

Duties:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to handle and wash dishes and utensils safely and efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.

Note: This position may also involve assisting with food preparation or supporting the cook as needed.
