Part-Time Dishwasher, Kitchen Cleaner & Packaging Assistant

We are a micro-bakery that specializes in Gluten-Free Artisan breads and pastries for wholesale accounts and for local customers/ farmer's markets.

We are looking to hire a part-time dishwasher and cleaning assistant to support our bakery. Candidate may also assist with packaging finished product.

The ideal candidate must be hard working, detail oriented, efficient and have good communication skills.

Availability: Wed/Thur/Fri AFTERNOONS/EVENINGS (hours are flexible) and some Saturdays. Hours will fluctuate depending on weekly needs. Generally 8-12+ hrs per week. Possibility to gain more hours in the future if bakery expands. Good opportunity for entry level applicants.

Wage: $18/hr.

Technical Skills: Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of what gluten-free practices are and familiar with allergen safety protocol. Candidate must have the ability to perform physical labor, including being able to lift 50lbs. Main duties will be manual dishwashing, cleaning of our main kitchen, wiping pans and other general cleaning tasks. Candidate may also be trained to assist with packaging our products.

People Skills: We are seeking someone with good communication skills that can take direction but is also self-motivated to identify and initiate tasks that need to be completed. Candidate will have a positive, “can-do” attitude, will enjoy working in a team setting or independent work setting. Must be able to speak English.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
