Part-Time Drywall Repair And Painter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher and Painter to join our team. Someone who is centrally located in the Santa Clarita area. As a Drywall Finisher/Painter, you will be responsible for applying drywall, patches, paint and other finishes to various surfaces. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. If you have experience in residential painting and a passion for creating high-quality finishes, we want to hear from you.

You must be able to transport sheets of drywall and ladders with your own vehicle and have your own tools to be self-sufficient at a job site since you will work independently often.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques and materials
- Experience with stucco, masonry, and metal stud framing is a plus
- Familiarity with construction plumbing and flooring installation is beneficial
- Proficient in tile laying and airless paint spraying techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
