Part Time Faculty Pharmacy Technician Program

We are currently looking for a dedicated experienced individual to join our team as Part Time Faculty – Pharmacy Technician Program. The ideal candidate will plan, organize and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution’s learning objectives. Responsibilities include teaching the subject area or areas that correspond to the specialty, contribute to the academic process of the institution through the participation in the development of curriculums, assessment, evaluation, research, peer mentoring and coaching, community service, advancement of the institution. AGM University serves a diverse student population, offering bilingual education to the community for traditional and non-traditional students.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Associate Degree, or higher, in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of professional practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist.
3. Comprehensive understanding of Florida Board of Pharmacy laws and rules.
4. Ability to express himself/herself effectively, verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and teamwork.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds.
7. Commitment to student success and the institution’s mission.
8. Able to submit copy of any diploma, academic transcripts and/or certifications
9. Proven leadership skills from your previous work experience.
10. Knowledge and experience in technical applications:
a. Proficiency with MS Office suite software, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google applications.
b. Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Certified from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
2. Membership in professional associations.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
1. Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
2. Work Location: On-site position available at the Tampa Bay campus of Ana G. Méndez University.
