Start: Jan Start (Flexible for an early start)
Pay: From $40 per hour
Contract: 12 months / long term

A respectful and welcoming family in Newport are seeking a capable and confident nanny to care for their 9-year-old daughter. They are looking for someone reliable and proactive, who can provide both nurturing care and practical household support.

Days and Hours - Flexible

• Two days: 9:00 am 7:00 pm
• One half day: 9:00 am 12:00 pm
• Exact days and hours to be confirmed with the nanny

About the Role

• School drop-offs, pick-ups, and driving to after-school activities
• Homework supervision and support
• Occasional cooking for the child
• Light household tasks including laundry, making beds, and general tidying
• Caring for and spending time with the family s friendly dog (must be a dog lover!)

Ideal Candidate

• Capable, confident, and dependable
• Organised and proactive with a positive approach
• Experienced in caring for school-aged children
• Comfortable managing both childcare and light household duties

Requirements

• Driver s licence and own car (family car available on occasion if required)
• Previous nanny or childcare experience
• Childcare qualifications desirable but flexible
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Non-smoking
