Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our growing family-owned business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and excellent customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in various software applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records and files.
- Assist with calendar management and scheduling.
- Provide administrative support including typing documents and proofreading materials.
- Utilize Google Workspace and other scheduling programs for various office tasks such as creating reports and managing spreadsheets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing support as required.
- Maintain an organized office environment through effective office management practices.
Qualifications
- Previous office experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and willing to learn how to use a scheduling program.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
