Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous hospitality, food industry, or hotel experience is highly valued, along with proficiency in food preparation, cooking, POS systems such as Micros POS, and food handling procedures. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in fostering teamwork, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety compliance
  • Manage customer service interactions to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Micros POS
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring of new team members to build a strong team
  • Train staff on food handling, safety protocols, and hospitality standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
  • Ensure adherence to health regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food quality control and presentation
  • Manage restaurant schedules, shift assignments, and team management tasks
  • Address customer concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards
  • Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
  • Extensive restaurant management experience including food industry knowledge
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Background in hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
  • Ability to interview candidates and assess team capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time
