Part Time Sales Associate/Key Holder

Job Overview

The sales associate is directly responsible for, meeting and surpassing individual sales goals and providing additional support for the store and other staff. In addition, the sales associate is responsible maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the sales floor.

Responsibilities or duties

- Improving store sales by achieving individual sales goals

- Processing transactions on POS

- Answering the phones

- Merchandising the showroom, creating appealing store displays and maintenance of the sales floor

- General store housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, cleaning the cash desk etc.

- Responsible for providing customers with positive shopping experiences

- Additional support for the sales team, when necessary, in any aspect including but not limited to; sales, moving product for customers, assembling/disassembling product, wrapping merchandise

- Creating tags as specified by the manager

Ideal candidate

- Key holder experience an asset

- Retail experience a must

- Home decor or design an asset

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

- Flexible schedule , must be able to work 2 weekdays ( 8 hours ) and at least 1 weekend shift or both Saturday and Sunday . Store is only open 10-6 pm no evenings required.

- Does not require sponsorship and legally able to work in Canada without limitations.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
