Parts Manager

Job Title: Parts Manager

Company : Irish Farm & Garden Machinery, based in Malahide. We are a distributor of lawn and garden machinery in Ireland and the UK. We have an extensive Parts Department serving over 800 trade customers in both countries.

Role: The Parts Manager will be reporting to the Technical Director and will be responsible for the efficient running of the Parts Department.

Salary: €40,000 per annum

Requirements :

· Proven track record in a Parts Department with experience dealing with customers and suppliers.

· Enthusiasm and be a fast learner with excellent people skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good understanding of computer packages (MS word, excel etc.).

· Great attention to detail.

· A good multi-tasker with strong organisational ability.

· Ability to work on your own initiative.

· Fluent spoken and written English.

Duties:

• Processing parts orders
• Dealing with customer queries and completing in a timely manner.
• Assisting customers in identifying parts from diagrams.
• Monitoring incoming web parts orders from our B2B site.
• Ordering parts from suppliers to fulfil customer back orders and maintain stocks to satisfy demand with constant monitoring min max.
• Working with suppliers to ensure parts arrive in a timely manner and keep up to date with parts on back order.
• Monitor customer parts back orders and communicate with them if there are delays etc.
• Keeping our B2B website up to date with parts illustrations and technical information.
• Making sure parts for new products are ordered for when they are due to go on sale.
• Processing counter sales.
• Working with the existing team to allocate resources where required.
• Monitor parts picking to make sure parts go out in a timely manner.

Pay: From €40,000.00 per year
