Pastrycook’S Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pastrycook’s Assistant to support our bakery operations. This role involves assisting our pastry chefs and bakery team with daily food preparation, baking support, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting pastry chefs with preparation of ingredients

• Supporting daily baking and production tasks

• Weighing, measuring and preparing raw materials

• Packing finished products

• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas

• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workspace

• Other general kitchen and bakery support duties as required

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a restaurant, bakery, or related food production industry

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior pastry chefs

• Good communication skills in English

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good time management and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for kitchen duties

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
