Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Coordinator to join our Denture Care team.
We are a young and energetic team with TWO locations, one in Winnipeg and the other in Selkirk. This position requires travel to both locations once different days of the week.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from the moment they enter our facility. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail as well as humility. The Patient Coordinator will be the first point of contact for patients, providing essential support in both administrative and front desk functions.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up-to-date.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and any necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate patient care and ensure seamless communication within the office.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally, directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Assist with billing inquiries and verify insurance information as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is helpful, but more importantly a humble attitude will allow one to learn all they need to know.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members alike.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
