Medical Assistant:

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Medical Assistants or Nurses to join our team on a per diem basis for onsite vaccine clinics. The ideal candidate will assist in administering vaccinations, providing patient care, and supporting clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer vaccines to patients following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain vaccination stations, ensuring proper sterilization and organization.
  • Conduct patient intake, including verifying medical history and documenting consent.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking vaccine supplies and reporting shortages.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient experiences.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Document patient interactions and vaccine administration accurately in electronic health records (EHR).

Qualifications

Medical Assistant

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a vaccine or primary care setting.

Registered Nurse:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in public health or outpatient settings.
  • Strong knowledge of vaccine administration protocols and infection control practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Work Environment

  • Per diem schedule with flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on clinic needs.
  • Travel to various clinic locations within the region may be required.
  • Fast-paced setting with a focus on patient care and operational efficiency.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week

Work Location: In person
