Within our National Sales Perfume team, based in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a:

Perfume Retail Manager

Switzerland – All Swiss German Region

Reporting to the Switzerland Wholesale & Retail Manager Perfume, you are responsible for developing Bulgari Perfumes activities within Swiss markets in a sustainable way. You will manage all the retail and operational aspects relative to the sales activity within the Swiss German perimeter.

As a Retail Manager, you will be the main point of contact for Bulgari Perfume at the point of sales, driving the brand relaunch within your perimeter, challenging the status quo, and ensuring that all operations meet Bulgari’s requirements to optimize sales and guarantee the utmost expression of our brand in store.

You will have a team of Client Advisors hired through agencies, being responsible for their recruitment, coaching, and training to achieve sales targets. You will determine temporary staff needs to capture sales opportunities and boost retailers’ results, acting as an example for the sales staff by being present on the floor when support is needed and organizing local training. By establishing excellent relationships with our retailers, you will be their day-to-day point of contact in the field for all performance and operational aspects.

In this role, you will ensure close follow-up of sell-out performance, collaborating with partners to define and achieve sales targets for each point of sale. You will guarantee that Bulgari Perfumes assortments are optimally represented in store, in line with visual merchandising guidelines, and ensure the availability of both sellable products and testers. Managing sampling initiatives and gifts-with-purchase actions will be part of your responsibilities, as well as challenging retailers’ orders when necessary to maximize commercial results. You will negotiate for enhanced in-store visibility and local animations, proactively suggesting sales opportunities to further drive performance. Supporting all in-store executions, including CAPEX installations, visual merchandising, and animations, will be key, along with managing the assigned budget, negotiating with staff agencies, and following up on payments.

You will also be accountable for achieving annual sales targets, closely tracking store performance to identify growth opportunities, and challenging Client Advisors to surpass their objectives. Gathering feedback from stores regarding performance and competitor activities to enrich your strategic decisions, as you identify additional animation needs and coordinate their execution with recruitment agencies. You will continuously analyze the effectiveness of in-store actions, ensuring that every initiative contributes to the sustainable development of Bulgari Perfumes within the Swiss market.

Your Background

You hold a CFC or equivalent education and have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury or retail sector. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, enjoying frequent contact with people and building strong networks, while bringing a positive and motivating mindset to achieve sales targets.

You can work independently, managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams is advanced.

You are passionate about the sales environment and act as a leader and role model for your Client Advisors. Proactive and hands-on, you thrive on the field and take initiative in all operational tasks. You are performance-driven, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving, and understand the high standards and qualitative execution required in the luxury environment. You have a strong expertise in business vision and execution and confirmed skills in negotiation. Driven by results, you are able to lead various activities such as sales, training, merchandising and visibility of the brand.

Known as a dynamic person with a positive mind-set, you are proactive and have a solution-driven attitude.
Excellent listener and communicator, you have strong interpersonal skills that allow you to build and maintain strong and trustful relationship at all levels of the organization.

Fluency in Swiss German and English is required; knowledge of French and Italian is considered a strong asset. The position is based in Switzerland on the field and involves daily travel within the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Finally, you act as an Ambassador for the Company by being an inspirational model to area and others.
