Job Title: Project Planner (Petrochemical Construction)
Location: Project Site in the Bahamas
Reports To: Project Controls Manager / Project Director
Role Overview
The Project Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated project schedules for petrochemical construction projects. The role supports project delivery by providing accurate planning, progress analysis, forecasting, and schedule risk identification to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed baseline schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Interface with construction, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather planning inputs.
- Update and maintain schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 / MS Project).
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and critical path activities.
- Produce regular look-ahead schedules (2-week / 4-week / 12-week) to support site execution.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and mitigation strategies.
- Support preparation of recovery plans and revised forecasts.
- Develop and maintain progress measurement systems and earned value tracking where required.
- Prepare planning reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Participate in planning meetings, coordination workshops, and management reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Controls.
- Typically 5+ years planning experience on large industrial / petrochemical / oil & gas construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 (essential).
- Experience with turnarounds, brownfield or greenfield projects is advantageous.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, heavy lifts, piping, structural, mechanical completion and commissioning processes.

Pay: €35,000.00-€350,000.00 per year
