Pharmacy Assistant

Collon Pharmacy are a friendly, independent community pharmacy in Collon, Co. Louth. We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and friendly Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join our team for a 12 month contract to cover a combination of winter pressures and maternity leave.

The successful candidate should:

• have outstanding customer service skills
• have previous retail experience, pharmacy retail an advantage
• have fluent English and excellent communication skills
• be willing to work as part of a team but also able to take initiative
• be flexible and willing to learn
• have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Providing excellent customer service based on product knowledge and customer requirements

• Maintaining stock levels and merchandising for the shop
• Ensuring the tidiness of the shop is to a high standard
• Building and sustaining positive relationships with our customers.

Experience:

• Previous retail experience is essential
• Computer literacy is desirable
• Previous pharmacy experience an advantage.
• Knowledge of over the counter medications desirable but not essential.
• Completion of an OTC medicines course would be desirable but not essential.
• References (2) must be available.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
