Job Summary:
The Regional Chief Information Security Officer (Regional CISO) is responsible for overseeing and managing the information security strategy and operations within a specific geographic region. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the region's unique regulatory, cultural, and business requirements. The Regional CISO collaborates with global and local teams to ensure the security of IT systems, networks, and data, and manages security incidents and responses within the region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy for CISO capabilities in the Philippines aligned with CISO / business objectives and global best practices
• Drive the evolution of security capabilities across the CISO organization in the Philippines through innovative solutions and strategic relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels globally.
• Leverage extensive global network of CISO, Corporate Function, and Business contacts and security leaders to stay current with industry trends and best practices
• Build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (as needed) to drive security operations and initiatives
• Represent the CISO organization at community meetings, country forums and events
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security operations and strategy with business objectives
• Run Philippines-specific Information Security initiatives and run day to day people operations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage
• 15 years experience of senior program leadership
• Portfolio Strategic Planning
• Data Security
• Account Management
• Technical expertise in securing technologies and practices
• Risk assessment and crisis management
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Professional and Technical Skills:

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Extensive experience in information security, including leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
