Phonics Teacher

Job Description

• Deliver structured phonics lessons (K1–P3) using decodable readers and a 15-minute core routine
• Run screeners & weekly probes, track progress, and adjust instruction
• Prepare lesson materials using Cognitive’s Teacher Toolkit (scripts, assessments, decodables)
• Communicate student progress with parents and collaborate with colleagues/therapists
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource feedback loops
• (Optional) Support workshops/webinars for parents and teacher upskilling

Training and Growth

• Cognitive Certified Phonics Instructor (Level 1) + ongoing coaching.
• Pathway to Level 2/3, mentoring, curriculum projects, and leadership tracks.
• Opportunity to be trained as a Master Trainer.

Requirements

• At least a diploma in any discipline.
• Enjoy working with young children.
• Strong sense of responsibility and a drive to succeed in helping young children.
• Willing to be an entrepreneur (ownership mindset; proactive in growing programs and resources).
• Strong spoken/written English; additional languages a plus.

Job Types: Contract, Fresh graduate, Freelance
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $3,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
