Pizza Cook

Sextons Bar and Pizza, 91 Henry St, are looking to employ an experienced pizza cook to join our busy pub kitchen in Limerick City

Our pizzas are cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, and the kitchen can get fast-paced during service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working under pressure, takes pride in producing great pizzas, and wants a stable, long-term role as part of a friendly team.

30-35 hours per week.Permanent position

Pay & Benefits- €15–€17 per hour depending on experience

- Shared tips (distributed across all staff working that night)

Responsibilities:

- Cooking pizzas in a wood-fired oven

- Preparing pizza dough during service

- Assembling pizzas with sauces and toppings

- Managing tickets and organising orders during busy service

- Assisting with prep when required

- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

- Helping with closing and cleaning duties each night

- With experience and reliability, there may also be opportunities to open the kitchen and manage prep independently.

Requirements:

- Previous experience cooking pizzas (gas or wood-fired ovens) essential

- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen

- Strong organisation and attention to detail

- Reliable and able to work independently when required

- Food safety knowledge (HACCP preferred but training can be provided)

Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
