At Just Pizza, we take our dough seriously, but ourselves? Not so much. Located in the heart of East Vancouver, we are a craft sourdough pizza shop dedicated to high-quality, naturally fermented dough, hyper-flavorful topping combinations, and building genuine connections with our neighborhood. We believe great food should be accessible, fun, and uncompromisingly delicious.

The Role

We are looking for an adaptable, high-energy Pizza Cook & Customer Service Team Member to join our crew. Because we run a lean, collaborative shop, this is a true hybrid role: you will be stretching cold-fermented sourdough one minute, and talking a guest through our menu the next. Whether you are looking for 20 hours a week or 40, we want someone who takes immense pride in clean work, great food, and making people feel instantly at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

In the Kitchen:

  • Stretch, top, and bake our high-hydration sourdough pizzas to precise shop standards.
  • Manage the oven during peak service rushes, ensuring an even, perfect bake.
  • Execute daily prep lists efficiently (slicing meats, prepping fresh produce, making sauces).
  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and station-organization standards.
  • Greet neighbors, regulars, and first-timers with genuine warmth.
  • Take orders accurately via our POS system (walk-ins, phone, and online pick-ups).
  • Box pizzas, double-check order accuracy, and manage the hand-off flow.
  • Keep the front counter, customer area, and beverage cooler spotless.

  • Attitude: You genuinely like people. You don’t get rattled there are pizzas lined up to be made.
  • Mindset: "That’s not my job" isn't in your vocabulary; we all wipe down counters, we all wash dishes, and we all prepare pizzas.
  • Respect for the Craft: A personal interest in sourdough, fermentation, or thoughtful ingredient sourcing will make you fit right in.
  • Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends. (Please specify whether you are seeking Full-Time or Part-Time in your application).
