Plumber

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing various plumbing tasks with precision and efficiency. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Utilize power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion.
• Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents related to plumbing systems.
• Experience with welding techniques is a plus.
• Must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or kneeling.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
