Job Summary

Install and maintain water and waste water systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, install, test, repair and replace pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating water, drainage and steam systems
• Maintain fire alarm and sprinkler systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to water feature treatment, swimming pool, glycol systems, chilled water downstream, hot water systems and water conditioners
• Install plumbing fixtures and connect them to pipes
• Replace pipes and open clogged drains

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Journeyman Certificate of Qualification as a General Plumber
• Must have grade 12 or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work all shifts
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, etc.
• Occasional medium lifting required
