Pool Server

SCOPE AND PURPOSE:

Provide poolside service of food and beverage to guests, according to all El Encanto Standards.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Highest standard of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures.
• Food product, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor general cleanliness of pool areas, maintaining bussed tables, towels picked-up, supplies maintained and walkways cleared.
• Knowledge of hotel history and statistics, and all daily meeting/events and location.
• Know all in-house VIP guests, daily specials, and wines by the glass
• Follow schedule, sidework and assignments given by manager.
• Thorough menu knowledge
• Follow complete SOP details
• Points of service details:
• Pool area set-up and break-down
• tabletop maintenance
• service pace in delivering and bussing food and beverage items
• Offer water
• Respond to guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool kitchen
• Participate in shift staff roll call briefing.
• Completes assigned side work; Opening/running/closing
• Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
• Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
• Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
• Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
• Demonstrate and be a role model of Belmond’s core values of Care, Confidence, Curiosity and Community.

Compensation $16.50 plus tips
