Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and curiosity. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape a positive learning experience for children in their earliest educational journey, fostering growth through innovative lesson planning, classroom management, and individualized support.

Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities focused on literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and cognitive development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's unique needs.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services to ensure inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
  • Knowledge of early intervention techniques and special education practices is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Certification or credential in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
  • Ability to create an enriching environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social-emotional growth.
