Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with children, and a commitment to fostering developmental growth. This role involves developing age-appropriate curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through innovative teaching methods.

Duties

• Design and implement e lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among preschoolers.
• Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote a safe and respectful space.
• Maintain accurate records of student development and communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress.
• Organize age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development, including tutoring and childcare routines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and child welfare policies while maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
• Experience with curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and special education needs such as early intervention.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
• Familiarity with assessment tools for preschool-aged children.
• Proven experience working with preschool children.
• Skills in tutoring young learners in foundational subjects like literacy and math; experience with toddler care is advantageous.
• Knowledge of child welfare policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care. Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
