Principal Program Manager
Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Principal Program Manager to lead complex, high-impact programs within our aerospace and defense business. This role is critical to driving successful execution of customer contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining financial performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and influence strategic outcomes that expand Attalon’s market presence.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex customer contracts with significant technical scope and revenue impact.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop Statements of Work, project schedules, and resource plans.
- Partner with internal managers and functional teams to ensure program success.
- Resolve issues and coordinate support with key suppliers and vendors.
- Drive new business opportunities through customer engagement and follow-on contracts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline and 9+ years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 7+ years; or PhD with 4+ years.
- Proven experience in program management within aerospace or defense industries.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Experience with ISO 9000/9001 and 14001 standards.
- Familiarity with optical or opto-mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
For California, the base salary pay range for this role is $95,246.00 - $168,564.00
