Jaylor Fabricating Inc. is looking for a Production Lead Hand - Welding to join our team.

Role Details:

  • Love to work in a busy manufacturing environment.

  • Assist the Shop Foreman and the Production Manager in the efficient operation of the shop.
  • Advise manufacturing employees on proper technique, manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Provide training to employees as needed or assigned.
  • Motivate team members to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Oversee, schedule and assist in welding areas.
  • Communicate with other team leaders to identify and solve production issues.
  • Perform quality control to ensure the finished product is up to the quality standards of the organization
  • Ensure material availability and flow
  • Be adaptable to working and assisting is other production areas as required.
  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday as production needs require (4/10 Shift)

Required Skills:

  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Proficient in welding and fabrication roles
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
  • Safety Oriented
  • Familiar with working in an ERP environment such as Epicor
  • Must be extremely organized
  • Must be able to multi task
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting product and assembly drawings
  • Exceptional problem solver
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to learn and understand the various product lines and sub-assemblies in the production environment
  • Forklift and crane certification (or the ability to be certified)
  • Must possess: good verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate excellent attendance and the ability to work as a member of team.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment is an asset.

Pay: $17.75-$25.56 per hour
