The Virtual Production Show Production Manager (PM) reports to the Producer and Director of Content Production and assists the Producer in managing the assigned project. This role bridges creative and production teams, ensuring efficient workflows and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Producer and supervisors to strengthen the connection between creative and production teams
- Assist Producer and Creative Director in the project set up and workflow
- Assist Producer in managing Turnovers and schedules of deliverable milestones
- Mentors and Manages coordinators to create clear daily and weekly plans to ensure work schedule is on track as discussed with Producer and supervisory team
- Organize and lead day-to-day meetings, ensuring clear agendas are communicated
- Identify and mitigate project roadblocks, creating detailed contingency plans to maintain efficiency
- Create and implement strategic plans and schedules, ensuring team efficiency
- Ensures follow up for action items, goals, and deadlinesLook after all deliveries and ensure all references are shared with Eyeline in collaboration with coordinators
- Ensure Shotgrid database is up to date with Turnovers and Eyeline’s schedules in collaboration with coordinators. This includes creating scenes, shots, assets for each turnover
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Production Manager or a similar role in virtual production, VFX, or animation
- Minimum five (5) years experience working on high profile feature films and television
- Strong technical understanding of the VFX pipeline across multiple departments as well as interest and knowledge of VFX software packages
- Highly organized, resourceful, and diligent with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Trustworthy and able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance various priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite tools and experience with production management software such as Flow/ShotGrid (formerly Shotgun) or equivalent tracking tools.
- Knowledge of basic real-time engine concepts and virtual production terminology is desirable but not essential.
