Production Manager

Location: East, Singapore

Industry: Contract Manufacturing (MedTech)

Reports to: Director

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the production team, offering training, support, and motivation.
• Foster a safe, positive, and efficient work environment.
• Develop and implement production schedules to achieve company objectives.
• Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to align with company goals.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand or capacity.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet specifications.
• Monitor production and identify areas for improvement.
• Address quality issues with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with medical device industry standards and regulations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
• Use data and metrics for process enhancement.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies.
• Optimize machinery and equipment use.
• Coordinate maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Develop and manage the production budget.
• Monitor costs and implement savings measures.
• Ensure a safe workplace for all employees.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management.
• Recruit, retain, and develop skilled production staff.
• Promote learning and skill development within the team.
• Implement training programs to improve team capabilities.
• Support top management's operations and decisions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing, supervision, and planning.
