Description:
We are seeking a Production Manager who displays strong leadership attributes, is an excellent communicator and is a solution-oriented decision maker to join our team in Larapinta (QLD). This position will be responsible for managing all production activities, costs, operations, and forecasts at our precast concrete manufacturing facility.
This is a fulltime position, and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career or a Production Manager looking for a change!
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and repairs
- Perform stock forecasting and stock management tasks
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Manage production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Resolve production challenges and minimise downtime through effective problem-solving.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar leadership role within a precast concrete or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a results-driven approach.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
