We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Manager to lead our food manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of food manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to monitor production data, manage inventory levels, and streamline supply chain activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and executing process improvements aligned with quality control standards.
  • Oversee plant management functions including equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and process optimization to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, manage procurement schedules, and improve supply chain analytics for better forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and food safety protocols while fostering a culture of operational excellence among team members.

Experience

  • Proven experience in production management within a food manufacturing environment or similar manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and supply chain management tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and process improvement strategies.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to plant equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on operations management and assembly processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on supply chain analytics and continuous process optimization.
