About the Role:

Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning experiences? Working under the guidance of the Project Lead, you will drive the development, coordination, and implementation of assigned projects. You'll collaborate with university stakeholders to identify learning needs, research best practices, and craft engaging, accessible content aligned with universal design principles. Your work will not only enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities but also empower educators with the tools to create more inclusive classrooms.

If you thrive in a role where innovation, collaboration, and meaningful impact intersect, we’d love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Design and develop interactive eLearning and blended learning modules on disability awareness, reasonable adjustments, and supporting neurodivergent students, ensuring alignment with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, including disability advisors, neurodiversity specialists, and teaching and learning educators, to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and impactful.
We are looking for:
  • Completion of a relevant degree with considerable relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
  • Strong understanding of disability awareness, reasonable adjustments, and supporting neurodivergent students in a higher education setting, as well as knowledge of disability legislation and standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, foster collaboration, and demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering eLearning, blended learning programs and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) (desirable).
  • Experience working in a tertiary education environment (desirable).
Role Requirements:
  • As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
  • Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
  • This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check
