Coach - Professional Skills Development Trainer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Life Project 4 Youth is a federation of 16 organizations in 13 countries whose mission is the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social inclusion of Young-Adults (17-24 yo) from extreme poverty and victims of exclusion.

LP4Y supports the decent inclusion of thousands of Young people and their families in 41 programs, 20 Training & Development Centers, 6 Green Villages, 3 Little Angel Academies, 2 LP4Y Labs in South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Europe and America.

This soft skill training center has welcomed and trained over 100 out-of-school Youths, accompanying them in developing professional grooming and employability skills (communication skills, organization and management, time management, business mindset, teamwork, citizenship). The final objective is to help them to find a stable and decent job (by guiding them, without placement).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Following the LP4Y pedagogy, you will take part in coaching a team of Young-Adults toward their social and professional inclusion;
• Pedagogy and follow-up of the Young Adults of the Young Adults, so that they gain confidence in their capacity to act and therefore find and keep a decent job: personal money management;
• Development of a Micro-Company Initiative (social entrepreneurship) to enable them to develop soft and hard skills;
• Partnership development to create and develop an integration ecosystem for the Youths;
• Organization, management and reporting of the program activities;
• Budgeting and budget management of the program activities.

PROFILE

• Bachelors and/or Masters directly linked to the mission would be an asset for the mission but it is not required. Your whole profile will matter;
• Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated;
• Motivated and proactive profile who likes challenges and works in autonomy;
• Volunteer spirit;
• Will to commit for the inclusion of excluded Youths;
• Ready to learn and grow.

SKILLS

• Fluent in English (required);
• Intermediate knowledge in MS office (Word, Excel, Drive, Email);
• Demonstrates ability to work in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment and to maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds;
• Will be able to facilitate and encourage open communication and transversal projects;
• Self-management, emotional intelligence and organizational skill: stay composed and positive even in difficult moments, handle tense situations with diplomacy and tact, and take initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Allowance: Php15,000.00

Schedule: 8 hours shift, 5 days/week
