Project Coordinator (Millwork / Cabinetry)

Job Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of millwork and cabinetry projects from initial approval to final installation. This role acts as a key link between clients, designers, shop production, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. Strong organizational skills, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple millwork projects from approval to completion
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project scope to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, designers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, timelines, and production deadlines
  • Issue and track shop drawings, revisions, and approvals
  • Coordinate material orders and ensure timely procurement
  • Work closely with the shop manager to align production schedules
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries and installations
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues
  • Maintain project documentation, including change orders and correspondence
  • Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and job costing
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
  • Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and project conditions
  • Support problem-solving and communicate solutions effectively to all stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in millwork, cabinetry, construction, or related field preferred
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and shop drawings
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in project management tools and basic office software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
