Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

Job Description

This position sits within the Training Accreditation Services team, which oversees accreditation for Basic and Advanced Training programs across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The purpose of the role is to provide project coordination expertise to support the operations team to adopt accreditation renewal products and respond to regulatory directives and accreditation evaluation findings. It will manage and coordinate accreditation project activity to ensure products are successfully developed and implemented.

This role also provides operational and administrative support to delivery of Basic and Advanced accreditation programs, as required.

Key accountabilities

  • Work closely with colleagues across accreditation operations and project teams to evaluate existing processes and products
  • Coordinate project activity to ensure products are successfully developed, implemented and evaluated within set timelines.
  • Maintain organised project tracking and accurate records.
  • Report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, as required.
  • Contribute to development and delivery of communications and change management activities to support project delivery.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to delivery of accreditation programs, as required.
  • Other tasks or responsibilities as directed by the Senior Executive Officer, Training Accreditation Services

Desired Skills and Experience

In order to be successful for this role we are seeking the following experience:

Essential

  • Demonstrated project coordination experience
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills, including the ability to respond to changing priorities and achieve set work objectives on schedule
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
  • Ability to monitor, evaluate and improve administrative policies, processes and templates
  • Strong attention to detail with proven document preparation and reporting experience
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness and ability to work independently and collaborate within a professional team, as required
  • IT Capabilities: Microsoft Office Suite, Survey Monkey, SharePoint and video/teleconferencing platforms

Desired

  • Experience working within and/or understanding of postgraduate medical education training and accreditation
  • Experience working with health service providers and/or knowledge of the healthcare environment in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
  • Experience working in a member organisation or not-for-profit
  • Experience working with committees, including coordinating and facilitating meetings, and preparing agendas, briefs, minutes, draft reports and correspondence
  • Enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and can build positive relationships
  • Is comfortable in changing, complex environments
  • Has a continuous improvement mindset
