Property Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs. The Maintenance Person will work collaboratively with other team members to enhance the overall functionality and safety of our environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Fabricate parts as necessary to support maintenance tasks and ensure operational efficiency.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
• Lead small teams on specific projects or repairs, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring and circuit repairs.
• Experience with welding is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
• Ability to read and understand schematics for efficient problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
• A proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they arise.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
