Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to step into our practice and immediately manage a nearly full schedule of patients. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, patient-centered mental health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health conditions.
• Manage a diverse patient panel with a nearly full schedule from day one.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments, as appropriate.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on mental health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• Certification: National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in mental health care.
• Skills: Strong clinical decision-making, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
