Psychology Instructor- Adjunct

Beal University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Psychology classes.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years experience teaching higher education, online teaching experience is preferred.

Job Duties

• Facilitating class instruction
• Providing advisement to students
• Attending and participating in instructor orientations and trainings

Education and Other Requirements

• Masters Degree or higher in an appropriate field.
• Demonstrated command of theory and practice, contemporary knowledge, and continuing study in an appropriate field(s).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 2 years of experience with a Learning Management System, Canvas preferred.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Superb interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Patient, understanding and empathetic (recognize that student population is non-traditional)
• Skills in presenting subject matter
• Skill in developing Lesson outlines and materials.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per month
