About the Role

A new opportunity has become available within National Public Health Service as a Public Health Medicine Registrar Workforce Coordinator.

This role plays a pivotal part in supporting registrars to successfully complete their training and in cultivating the future public health workforce. You'll lead the implementation of a new employment and placement coordination model for Public Health Medicine Registrars completing advanced training in Aotearoa within Health NZ (specifically NPHS, PFO) and on external rotations.

You'll be joining a close‑knit, collaborative team of HRBPs that works closely across clinical, operational and workforce functions. Because NPHS leads outbreak response nationally, the role calls for a flexible, hands‑on approach and a willingness to pivot quickly as public health needs change.
