Duties and responsibilities

  • Quality Inspection and Coordination:
    • Take internal inspection with production to ensure systems are following approved drawings and/ or standards;
    • Co-ordinate with Project Lead QC and related departments to address comments;
    • Work with the Classification Society, Ship Owner to clear comments/ punches;
    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections to identify non-conformities.
  • Reporting:
    • Report directly to Quality Manager all issues concerning the project in charge.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in naval, marine or general engineering.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years experience;
    • Understanding the Machinery, Piping, Outfitting installation standards and testing, etc;
    • Understanding the shipbuilding technology;
    • Understanding the National and International Rules, Regulations of Classification Societies and Authorities in shipbuilding;
    • Strong technical knowledge in Pipe systems and Machinery.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • English written and spoken are mandatory;
    • Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
