Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will ensure material, construction and safety compliance along with seamless communication and reporting to management, but let’s dig deeper:
- Ensure that Contract Quality Plans, ITP and other relevant documentation meets the contract specification requirements – providing information to manage quality issues on site.
- Completion of quality assurance and control documentation including Data Dockets, Spray Sheets, Weather Data, RAMM data and DJR’s etc.
- Manages weather related conditions such as road temperature, humidity and air temperature to assist with better management of site activities
- Calculate and control material quantities to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Communicate results of findings and highlight quality/compliance issues with Contract Engineer/Foreperson as they arise Support, implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedures.

- Have demonstrated interest/experience in maintaining accurate records and data management
- Hold exposure to sealing operations (beneficial)
- Be able to conduct basic risk analysis applicable to construction operations
- Be a ‘Team Player’ with excellent communication skills
- Have a good understanding of mathematics as applicable to surfacing operations/construction Have experience loading data accurately and on time as per Departments specifications.
