Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. You will be responsible for implementing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation to ensure adherence to ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and CGMP standards.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of products using various quality assurance methods, including Vision inspection systems and Coordinate measuring machines.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations throughout the production process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that align with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to fabricate products that meet specified quality standards.
- Utilize Calypso software for data analysis and reporting on product quality metrics.
- Participate in HACCP planning and execution to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Document all inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Identify areas for improvement within the production process and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CGMP, and HACCP principles.
- Familiarity with quality assurance tools such as Vision inspection systems and Coordinate measuring machines.
- Proficiency in using Calypso or similar software for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence in decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
