Beneavin Lodge emeis ireland is looking for Part Time Receptionist to cover Weekends and evenings.
The Nursing Home Receptionist is the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This role ensures a warm, welcoming environment while providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and transfer phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries promptly.
- Manage visitor check-in and check-out procedures in line with the home’s policies.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings with residents, healthcare professionals, and management.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and resident information while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with resident admissions and general administrative documentation.
- Support staff with photocopying, filing, and data entry tasks as needed.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures.
- Provide compassionate assistance to residents and families while upholding the nursing home’s care values.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrator, ideally in a healthcare or nursing home environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with administrative systems.
- Professional, empathetic, and approachable manner.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
