Located at our Bentley campus, we have an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Technician to join our Operations and Maintenance team. If you are seeking a role where you will be able to come home every day and have a great work-life balance, then we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for skilled and experienced individuals to join our hard-working and dynamic team.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to maintain and enhance the University’s physical environment. This includes preventative, breakdown, and emergency maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications/Experience:

• Completion of a Certificate III (or Advanced/Post trade Certificate or equivalent) with extensive relevant experience.
• Restricted Electrical Licence (current).
• Australian Refrigeration Council accreditation.
• ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
• White Card.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• A great team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret hardware manuals, service manuals, and technical and construction drawings.

Work Requirements:

• Full Working Rights in Australia
• On-site position, therefore successful candidates must currently be living and/or have confirmed relocation to Perth, WA.
• Fitness level commensurate with the role.
• Ability to participate in after-hours call-out rosters as required.
• Ability to travel to regional campuses as required.
