TAKTL is a Pittsburgh-based designer and manufacturer of custom facade panels and architectural elements utilizing a proprietary Architectural Ultra High-Performance Concrete (A|UHPC®) formulation and automated production technology. We have grown rapidly since our inception, and are looking to fuel continued growth by adding to our highly successful Sales team.

Currently we have an opening for a Regional Business Development Manager with expertise in façade design and construction to expand our market reach in the Southern United States. This role involves outreach and network development across specifiers, contractors, and building owners. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and creative leader with at least ten years of experience in architectural sales specific to building exteriors. Must be technical, genuinely enjoy client interface, and have the ability to relate to architects, general contractors, and installing contractors.

This position is open to candidates currently located in or near a major urban center in the Southern United States, and will be responsible for managing business development for the entirety of the Southern region. Preferred cities for a base are Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, or Dallas. Travel will be required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build upon the existing network of specifiers and contractors to drive ongoing business
  • Provide up front technical information and support to design teams and contractors
  • Work with internal TAKTL team through quoting and estimating activities
  • Utilize CRM system for activity and account tracking
  • Attend job site meetings as necessary to support successful project outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of experience in architectural façade sales
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Clear, proactive verbal and written communicator
  • Basic understanding of architectural and fabrication drawings
